My 2 year old is lucky to eat 3 tablespoons of food a day

my 2 year od is luck to eat 3 table spoons of food a day she has just stoped her bottle because i thaught this was the problem but it dose not seem that way because he is still not eating.

Answer: Hi There,
You have done the right thing working milk down and likely t was in fact part of the cycle, but it is also possible that your todler needs some assistance with her oral mechanics for chewing or similar.

I would highly recommend talking to a paediatric speech pathologist such as the gals at No Fuss Feeding (bsite of same name). If your little one found chunky food difficult it may aso strengthen this idea. Paediatric speech pathologists deal with all thins to do with the mouth. Much of what a baby eats or rather when they an eat certain foods is determined by their oral development. I really think you will find them helpful, you can also find them in the yellow pages.
