My 7 month old has no problems drinking from a bottle but hates formula. I want to stop breastfeeding because she has teeth and knows how to use them. What can she have instead of formula?
Yes it can be a bit ouchy, most bubs quickly learn it’s not in their best interests to bite so it should resolve itself quickly.
Breastmilk and formula are your only two options; often with formula it is a matter of trial and repetition. If you offer a little a number of times during the day, most bubs will adjust. It has a very different taste, texture and smell from breastmilk, hence it can take a little getting used to, and of course the mode of delivery isn’t quiet as warm and soft.
