there are varying recommendations on the indirect addition of cows’ milk. As a drink it is clear that 12 months is the line that baby must reach, but in terms of the milk being added to food it is less clear. I tend to recommend about 9 months or if you are like me and prefer to wait, consider milk alternatives such as calcium-enriched rice, soy or oat. You can even alternate then for extra variety or alternate them with cows’ milk. This is a fantastic way of providing a wide array of both nutrients and health compounds for your bub.

You have asked a very relevant question; Milk is a bit tricky, you do need to keep it in balance as it has a lot of calcium (which can interfere with iron) and a lot of calories, which can quickly interfere with appetite. Many of the other nutrients are also not in a great ratio of babies. I guess the main message is only a little, sometimes until after 12 months.
