Can I eat Ham off the Bone?
Christmas is coming and my very favourite thing is ham off the bone. Every year we buy a fresh leg of ham but being pregnant some people say I shouldn't eat ham at all and some people say its ok off the bone as is or cooked. Can you please shed some light on the subject?

Hi there,
a little ham should be fine, ham off the bone is generally very well cooked and in Australia pork is produced under very strict guidelines. Just a little should be fine, it is high in salt, but all things in moderation.
