Not sure how many breast feeds vs solids my 11 month old should be having.
I have always demand breastfed my son, it wasn't until recently that a friend questioned why he still has 3 feeds during the day and one at night if he wakes up. He still eats 3 meals a day plus snacks. Should I be cutting out one of the day breastfeeds and giving more solids?

Hi there,
as long as your bub is having three full meals and 2-3 snacks a day then the breastfeeds on top of this are all a bonus for his immunity. There is no prescribed number of breastfeeds a day at this stage, it is entirely up to you and your baby and what works best for you. In some cases you can find dropping down to 1-2 a day interferes with milk supply, some mums would find 3-4 too much. So do what is best for you and enjoy the time it passes so quickly.
