Answer: Hi there,
sounds like a bit of a bind to be honest. There are a few things you may want to consider. A) Go cold turkey on the food which isn’t ideal for you or baby until bub is born and then see how you go after that. B) Look at healthier options to processed foods in the store. The obvious is fruit and so on, but potentially this might not work for you, still if you could see your way to filling the fridge with fruit, dips, healthy dipping bread options, and opt for popcorn, pretzels, corn chips (unflavoured),and so on, that would fabulous for your both. A great option is to consider a personal trainer who can also work with you on food coaching. To alter a diet, as you know, requires some time and this space simply wouldn’t do the job. It’s also great to have someone motivating you and pushing you along and someone you must check into. Plus being pregnant requires extra attention to nutrients.

Of course I can say the odd packet of Twisties is fine, but that does mean you have only one packet say a month, but in some cases that can be harder than going cold turkey.

Another option is to see a nutritionist, they can help plan your diet and work on those cravings (there can be nutrients that help with cravings in some cases), and also talk to you about activity that will assist in your weight balance.

So I hope there is something in there that strikes a cord
All the best with your pregnancy and beyond
