Sweating at night

My baby girl is 2 1/2 weeks old and I'm waking up every night soaking wet around my breasts and around my back. It's not breastmilk but sweat. I'm just wondering if this is normal this long after birth, and if it has something to do with the production of breastmilk? How long will it last? My baby girl is feeding alot and I'm having to produce alot of milk at the moment!
Thanks for answering.

Answer: This can be pretty normal and is due to the overall increase and changes in your hormone levels. Lactation can take a while to establish and for now, your body is probably just going through significant changes. Unless you feel your night sweats are due to an infection or raised temperature. A normal temp is around 36.5 to 37.3 degrees.
Make sure you are otherwise well and symptom free, as long as you are I would think it is due to the above explanation but obviously, if you’re concerned then a check with your doctor would be worthwhile.
Make sure you’re dressing only in cotton, or natural fibres. A fan or the Air-con on may help as well.
