Massaging your baby is a wonderful way for you and your bub to bond. Baby massage has been around for many years and is well known in Asian and Indian cultures who have developed a range of massage strokes that are still used today. A daily baby massage has been shown to increase brain development and physical health in bubs – and they love it too!
It’s easy to get started and build a daily massage into your day. A great time to massage your bub is after a warm bath, when bub is relaxed. A few gentle strokes and loving words is a great way to help bub unwind and relax before drifting off into sleep.
It doesn’t have to be complicated and our baby massage video and baby massages guide will give you a few ideas to get started.
