Navarone's Nursery

We recently created this beautiful nursery by knocking a wall out between the bedroom and the study. Our four year old started calling it the Nursery Rhyme (oh so cute). The room is outfitted with a jungle theme, from the beautiful curtains to the very bright canvases we have used (painted by my friend Jodie, from Loli-Pop Kids Wall Art).

We’ve added extra little bits and pieces such as an ‘N’, some cheeky monkey paintings (also by Jodie), wall stickers, and painted antique timber cupboard pale blue,decorating it with stickers as well.

The room contains two built in robes, a good light above the change table (double bulb), my favourite recliner rocking chair, and of course the cot (we’re using a small one for now, but we have a bigger one to replace it with later. The window is also dressed with timber blinds.

We painted the wall in Taubmans Midnight Sea.

I have studied interior design and I love updating and altering my creative space!
