Baby has all of a sudden become upset when you place him in the cot

My 10mth old baby has all of a sudden become upset when you place him in the cot. will not settle untill you pick him up, and even then he is still very worked up. i am still beastfeeding and now have to put him asleep while he feed. don`t know why. uesed to be very good and put self to sleep

Answer: Hi,
If you continue to settle him on the breast he will pick this up as a new routine and wake on his light sleep looking for this same comfort. Try our settling program and settle him awake if you don`t want to start this habit.
