Hi, I have a 9 week old baby who was born by emergency ceasar, due to my uterus rupturing.
My first daughter was caesar (7 years ago) due to fetal distress, then I had 2 successful natural births after that ( 4 and 2 years ago). I was overdue and induced with all 4. I have been trying to find out what the statistics are on this happening after having 2 natural births, but can't seem to find anything! Have you heard of anyone else that this has happened to? I feel like the only one!!!

Answer:
Hi,
This is very unusual but it does happen, especially if you are induced. Inductions do increase the risk considerably plus you had 3 previous children so this further increases the chances of an abruption.
Best wishes,
Alex.
