Hi there, My Son was due on September 9th 2005 and all the way through my pregnancy i got used to the idea of having a 'September' baby. Then to my shock, i had him July 22nd. I have been told that it is rare to have a bub on the due date. Does anyone want to share their Due date vs Actual birth date??

My bub was born on his EDD. Friday the 13th! wink I went into hospital thinking I was in labour early on the 12th but was sent home... only to go back in on afternoon of the 13th for a scan and begged my midwife to check and true enough was 5cm dilated... and had him 7.45pm that night!!

I think the stats are like 2%.

With my first baby I was due on the 23rd of Nov, (from the scan and doctor, but my date was the 18th Nov) and he was born on the 12th Nov. With my second, I was due on the 7th Jan (from the scan and doctor, and my date was the 7th Jan too) and she arrived on the 31st Dec.

I liked not having to wait the full 40 weeks.

God help me if I have another and go 2 weeks over, the waitng will nearly kill me.

My son was due January 23rd but came November 23rd (9 weeks early)

My daughter was due July 27th (or August 1st by ultrasound dates) and arrived 5 weeks early on June 28th.

This time I'm due July 6th but they're expecting me to deliver by mid April.

My daughter was due on the 4 Nov, but was born on the 3rd July (17 weeks early). She weighed 450 grams when born. I thought I'd have her before my due date but not that early.

hi my First baby Sophie was due on the 16th of Jan and not born untill i was induced 12 days later on the 28th of jan...it was not nice at all!and with my second (will) i was so worried that history would repeat itself, but to everyones suprise he came 3 days early!!!

I told everyone that i wasn't going over my due date and i didn't, i was right on time. Due the 14th January 2006 and Fredrick came on the 14th. What a good little man! Hope the next one is just as good and does the same thing.

my son was due on the 28th of june but was born on the 18th but he looked more like an overdue baby.
my 2nd son is once again due 30th june but midwife has the feeling i am more advanced in my pregnancy than just 25wks she thinks im more like 29wks

My first baby was born two weeks early.
My second baby was born two weeks late!
My third and fourth babies (twins!) were born six weeks early!
I don't plan to have any more kids to see if I can get one on time!! Hehehehe!!

my daughter was due on the 7th of January and i oping that she would come a little early as by 37 weeks i was sick of being pregnant, but she ended up arriving at 4:12am on the 15th of Jan '06, 8 days late!

Hey there.My daughter Kailee was due on the 6th of October 03 but was born on the 2nd of October(might have had something to do with me jumping over our back fence!) after a 9 1/2hr labour.My little man,Broden,was due on the 24th of August(my birthday!) 05 but arrived on the 25th of August.After a short 4 1/2hr labour.Both are well and happy and absolutely gorgeous. WOW my second time ever posting I becoming a old hand at this this, but I have sat back long enough and enjoyed reading about everyones amazing experiences that I thought I would share one of my own.
My first baby was due on the 17th July 2005, and arrived at 12.25am on the 17th July, so much for the "its your first you will go over" and dont worry your labour will be at least 12 hours, DS arrived in 3.5 hours and that was with the midwife not allowing me to push once through my entire labour and holding the baby crowned for 15 minutes , so he was destined to be born on his due date becuase the midwife was not letting him come any earlier. My doctor has told me he is inducing me IF there a next time .

My daughter, by my dates was due 17th August, Dr's dates 30th August, she was born the 24th. Everyone in my family knew she would come on the 24th, including me due to the fact everyone on my dad's side is born on someone elses bday or anniversary, and hey presto she was born on her great grandfathers bday. Mind u labour started on the 22nd, so she was ready, but fate wasnt.

2nd boy (Riley) EDD: 4th Dec 2005 born 14th Dec 2004 10 days overdue

the second felt so much longer because everyone was saying it would be likely that i would go into labour early....so much for that smile

My little girl was born on the 12 june 2005 but the doctor said she would be due on the 18 june but we were abit scared that she was going to be born on the 15th june casues that is her unlce birthday.

My daughter Hunter was due on the 15 of August 2005. She finally arrived after being induced on August 26.

Hi all my daughter was born on the 12 june 2005 but we got told it was going to be 3rd than 5th and than 18th of june and they got all the dates wrong big time.

Hi Both of my children came before their due date

My son was due on the 14 April and arrived on the 4 April 2002.
My Daughter was due on the 21 November and arrive on the 12 November 2005.

Both were emergency C Sections.

My little gal was due originally on the 26th Dec, then at next appointment they changed it to the 28th. So therefore i got use to the idea of having to deal with christmas and bdays close together.

Then to my suprise (but pleasure) I was laying in bed, sat up with a quick jolt at 4.00am, my waters broke.

Rushed to the hospital, 2 and a half hours later on the 1st dec my little angel was born.

So EDD = 28/12/05
Arrival = 1/12/05

One month early, which was fantasic for me smile

hi there i had 2 ultrasounds both said i was due on the 9.11.05 and the funny thing was he was born on the 9.11.05 on the due date you dont get that many babies that come on the due date

I was given 4 different dates, the 23,24, 25,26 January but was born 11 days over on the 4th Feb - 3 days after his daddys birthday

i think babies will come when they're ready now after having a baby boy 2 days after he was due to be born.
my son beau was due to be born july 26 2006 but instead decided to come july 29. my daughter haylee also didnt arrive on her due date either. she was due 21 june 2005 and came earlry on june 19. so really you have to expected the unexpected.

Hi I have twin girls MIA & JADA.... my girls were due Jan 30 but they decided to come 03/01/06, mind u by early Jan I just wanted to have them (So hot & so big) my last day of work was the 02/01/06 I then went into labour that night (its true cleaning the house will bring on the labour) Mia was 2.75kg and Jada 3.05kg.
