Hi Tracey
I welcomed my third little boy Noah John to the family on 15th November weighing in at 7lb 7oz. I got sick and had to go back to hospital but starting to get back to being somewhat normal again. How are you going with 2 under 2?

Hi Tracey, I had a baby boy on the 25th Nov, a tiny 9lb 10! I also have a dd who is 16 months old.

I hope it all going well for you. my baby is only 5 days old, so it's early days really. Im just experiencing the baby blues- but i expect it to pass tomorrow! here's hoping anyway. Tomorrow is also the day it stops hurting downstairs, but I have to expect that from a 9lb 10 baby smile

xx
Hi girls, Hope your little bubba's are being good for you and sleeping well. We put Connor on a dummy last week but he wont take a bar of it, his sister keeps on trying to steal it when ever I leave it arms reach.

Hi,

My little man was born on 20th November. ROgen Patrick 7lb5oz 3340g and 49cm He is our fourth and our others just love him to pieces.

Hi everyone.smile

Our little girl Isabella was born on the 26th November (due 28th) weighing 8lb 1oz, 52cm. She's our second, we also have a 2 year old son, Kaelen. Isabella's weight was a huge surprise as everyone was expecting a big baby. My son was 9lb 11oz and i was just as big this time as i was with him.

She's doing really well. She got weighed yesterday at 6 days old and was already past her birth weight. So she's now 8lb 3oz/3720g. She gained 180g in 3 days. All the feeding must be doing something!;)She was a little jaundiced but that's heaps better now.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Ally and my little boy Jay was born on the 21st of november weighing 4kg exactly and 51.5cm long.

Breastfeeding is going well, Jay still needs to work out his sleep patterns they are all over the place. Jay also has bi-lateral clubfoot, he has plaster on his legs and hopefully in 2wks won't need them anymore.

Look forward to chatting with you all, Take carexxxx

HI Nov mums !

Well my little girl Isabel is 4 weeks old today! She is doing really well. Has put 500g on in two weeks and grown another cm.

Sadly I have had to give up breastfeeding as my supply was very low and with constant expressing and the help of medication it managed to dry up. I gave it a great go but a happy baby = happy mum !

I am loving being a first time mine, (and call it hormones?), but I am ready to have another. I just love it.

hi again, I hope you and your new arrivals are all well.

just a quick question to all those with newborns and other children close together in age- how do you manage to get out of the house!!?

My DS is 2 weeks old tomorrow, and i haven't left the house yet- i cant figure out how to get them both to the car. My dd is 16 months, and can only walk if i hold her hand- so its not like she can toddle off to the car without assistance.

feeling trapped here at home! how do you manage?

xx
Hey all,

97nc - have u tried turning the car on first putting ur DD in the car first with the air con if its really hot, then getting ur newborn?? that might be a way for u. and i know how u feel being trapped in the house smile im lucky in a way that my partner is home with me but that will only be till after new yrs untill he finds work. ill let u know how i go then doing it on my own, lol.

sim100 - i know how it feels for ur milk not producing enough its wat happened with my first and i had to stop sad , but i have gotten further with breast feeding with my second, it is sad when u cant breast feed but u might do better when u another baby lol smile n ur right with the happy baby = happy mum smile good luck with the formula smile

Steph

Hi 97nc, when get ready to hope in the car I always put DD (21 months)in first then start the car so the air con, then I put DS in, thats they way the ambulance officer told me to do it when I got the capsule fitted.

I hope all the babies as well as the mummies are keeping cool. And that all the babies are sleeping well for you. My little man slept thru last night which was great!!!

Will get back on soon to have a chat, getting dinner ready at the moment.

Hi Everyone

Thought i'd come and join you, ive noticed a few other mums from the due nov 09 thread in here.

I'm Shannon and I have a beautiful little girl Zoe Elizabeth who was born on the 16th November weighing 3395grams and 50cm long. Like one of the other Mums she was born close to my son's birthday, his name is Drew and he turned 2 on the 21st November. Zoe was actually due on the 27th so it came as a surprise that she came early. Both my kids were born at 38 weeks 3 days except my DS was an elective c/s as he was breech, he wasnt ready to come out when he did so didnt expect Zoe to come when she did. She has been a dream baby so far, very settled and very different to her brother who suffered from colic and reflux. We are still going with his reflux too.

Anyway look forward to chatting you all

Hi Ladies,

I had Jayden Daniel by c-section on the 13th November weighing in at 10 pounds 4.5 ounces (4.66kg) one big whopper!!!! I also have a 2yr old DD who is full of toddler energy!.

I had Jayden by elective c-section as DD was a big baby 9pound 6 ounces and I had trouble giving birth to her naturally and was afraid he would be big like her so went for the c-section on ob's advice. Really glad I did do the c-section but the waiting time that you can lift the pram really sucks big time.

Jayden sleeps in 5 hour blocks at night and I only have to get up at once, although this only started this week..
He is generally content baby but is hard to settle mostly in the evenings..

look forward to hearing more from everyone.

Kris

wow over 10pounds, dam im glad u went c section, i thought it was bad enough with my first being 9 1/2 pound i was worried about my second but they gave me regular sizing scans and he was growing nicely but he still came out 9pound, lol after going 11days over lol, both my boys were over first was 9days, they we're just too comfy in there first son came out on his own, tho second son liked it way too much, had to be induced with him, lol

XandHsMummy,

Yeah I am glad I did the C-section. I also had a scan at 36 weeks with Jayden to see how big he would be as I didn't with DD and the scan said under 4kgs and wouldn't be bigger than my first being 9 pound 6. Boy that was so wrong, I also had both my children at 39 weeks, imagine if I had waited till 40 weeks or even worse 42 weeks, Jayden probably would of been over 5kgs then LOL

hi ladies!
my lil girl was born on friday 13th november weighing 8pound 3oz, 52cm long smile her name is Kayleigh and i am loving being a mum!
kayleigh is my first baby so still getting used to everything, but getting there never the less! i was able to breastfeed for a little while but unfortunatly it did not work out so she's on the bottle totally now.
nice to see some mums from due nov09 thread!!!
hope everyone is enjoying there new bundles on joy, i know i am!
take care luv catie xo

Hi everyone,
My little boy Julian James was born on the 3rd of November. The birth all went well but he had to have a feeding tube for the first week. He's been a very sleepy eater since too. He's been slow to put on weight so I'm seeing the lactation consultant at my hospital at the moment, hoping to boost him up a bit. It's a bit of a vicious circle, as he needs more energy to suck more, but to get more energy he needs more milk! It's been tough going with the BFing but I'm sticking with it for now anyways. He’s a lovely little boy who we love dearly.
Again, nice to see some Nov mums on here too!
Leasey.

Hi there ladies!

My name is Roxy and I had a baby girl, Isla Maria Kate, on Wednesday 18th November at 2:23am. She weighed 7lb 6.5 oz after a 10-12 hour labour. Born naturally with a bit of gas. I yelled for the epidural but by that stage it was too late! She came less than 2 hours after arriving at hospital!

She sleeps about 3-4 hours during the day and up to 5 overnight. Breastfeeds really well and is a very placid little girl. Very loved by her big brother. smile

Looking forward to getting to know all the November 2009 mums! smile

Welcome to all the new nov mums in here, roxy, leasey and catie, wow we're starting to grow now smile

Kris - wow 4kgs at 38wks, if they said something like that with Hunter i would of been asking them to get him out early too, but im glad he didnt get that big, it only took about 5 pushes and he was out, way quicker then my first lol, and i was soo surprised, but i did make a few of the "to be dads" in the waiting room walk out from my screaming (so i was told) and i even got asked when i was taken to my bed if it was me screaming round 2pm, so they heard me from the ward too, lol, i didnt care at the time i just screamed my lungs out, lol

Can anyone help me with these tickers cause i cant not work it out everytime i put the code in it doesn work sad

Steph

She has started to really exercise her vocal cords the past week, and now everytime she is up un the change table she turns her head towards the window and just coos and gurgles at it!!! its soooooo cute hehehe i love her to bits!!!!
STEPH - i screamed my lungs out too lmao then towards the end i wasd on the gas constantly for 2 1/2 hours, my MW and DF would yell at me evertime i took the tube out of my mouth cos that was the only time i was being a little quieter lol they heard me all down the hall and in the rooms next door, i was suprised though cos iu thought for some reason the the BC walls were sound proof lol
hope everone is having a nice day so far! melbourne weather is nothing special sad
luv Catie xo

Hi everyone!

I'm Liz, and I had my second DD on 15th November. Named her Jamisyn Charli, she was 7pd 8oz. Had a very quick labour - less than 6 hours in total and all drug free - very different to the 15 hours and epidural with Tannah! And I know I screamed my head off too... as well as squeezing my hubby's hand so hard, he had to dig my fingernails out of his palm! lol...

Things are going well - she's a hungry little thing, feeding every 3 or so hours, but can go up to 5 overnight.

Still getting my head around having a newborn again, but loving every bit of it! Tannah is great with her too, always wanting to cuddle and kiss her, and helps by holding her bottle. So cute!!

Hope everyone is going well!

hi everyone, thought i would join the forum. i had my not so little baby girl, Jorji May Elizabeth on November 17th. she weighed 10pound 14 or 4920grams. labour and delivery was great but i bled afterwards and ended up having emergency surgery. everything is going great now, she's starting to sleep about 7 hours through the night and feeding every four hours during the day. we breastfed for a week but as i lost 2.5litres of blood just didn't have enough milk to satisfy her. as of last thursday she weighed 12 pound 2 or 5500grams. hope to get to know you all over the coming months.

Little Izzy is 5 weeks old today ! She has been a little angel until the last 2 days. She is now feeding every 3 hours during the day and going 5 hours at night, but after the day feed and a good burp she is not settling. She cries and cries and will only fall asleep in my arms. As soon as I put her down witin 10 mins she is crying again....so to all you mums out there, do you have any advice??

Simone - After you burp izzy see if she wants too feed a bit more. If she has burped she may have some more room and still be a bit hungry.

Either that or she may have a bit of colic/tummy pain. You could try either gripe water or brauers Colic Relief. Both have been helpful with Mitchell.

Hope this helps
