Hi ladies,

Wow, our pregnancy journey is over and a new one begins!!

Alice-Lily arrived on the 7th October at 11:47am (nice respectable time of the day!!). She weighed 2690gm.
She is feeding really well, and is a very settled baby, she didn't even wake when the midwife did the heel prick blood test thing. I love giving her cuddles, and I am lucky my son doesn't mind me cuddling her, and loves giving her kisses too.

Hi Octomummies
LOL that makes me think of that crazy lady in the USA that overdosed on IVF.

Ebony Brooklyn was born 9 days early on 28/9/10 at 10:07 after a relatively easy 4hr labour. So far all is well but we have to get her little heart checked soon because she has a murmur. She was 3000g and two weeks later she weighs 3450g. She loves her milk smile
We're enjoying her so much. She makes me want to have lots more babies!

Hi Girls.

Just letting you know that Dominic James has arrived on the 17th October @ 3.41am. Weighing 3.49kgs and 52cm tall. We are going very well. Happy and content little boy. Are hoping to go home tonight as delivery went very well and recovery is going well too.

It's funny.... He was due on the 16th and almost came exactly on time. Good little boy. We are all very proud. smile
hi ladies grin
my hailey is 2 weeks old today :0 she's doing really well smile which makes us hapi and lilly hasnt been jealous really at all, she's always willing to help us get nappys n things like that.we've had to stop her from picking hailey up a few times tho as she seems to think hailey is her baby lol.she doesnt mind me hugging hailey at all but can get a lil funny when daddy has cuddles...

to talimay my lilly has a heart murmur and we've been told by numerous medical ppl not to worry that by 3 they often grow out of it n if they dont they will still be fine.still its pretty scarey news to hear...especially about ur baby.so good luck

i have to go eat now im starving.bye for now smile

Hi ladies,

Had a bit of a meltdown tonight sad

DH, Olivia and I are in perth at the moment staying with my parents so not really in a routine and with everyone coming over and wanting to meet Livvy its been hard to get her settled plus she got a bit nasily and I have had to use little Fess on her and suck her boogers out and then ive got a cold. She is also still on the nipple sheilds so I felt like a failure and it all got on top of me and i got frustrated and felt like I didnt want her near me, then I got guilty cause im not really enjoying breast feeding but after a shower and a chat with my mum who reassured that its all normal to be feeling emotional and then DH came and told me I was doing a good job and if i had to stop BF cause I couldnt handle it that it was fine and that Id done 4 weeks of it so thats better than nothing i felt a bit better.

anyway enough from me, congrats to all the mums having there bubs :lol

Kathryn

Hi all,
We had our first visit to the clinic yesterday and my little man is getting BIG having gained 600g since birth.

Kathryn, don't feel bad about not enjoying Breastfeeding, I don't think many women enjoy it in the 1st six weeks, after that, things settle down, bubs has more of a routine and sleeping better and you are more confident and relaxed.
Do what works best for you and Olivia. You are the best judge of what is right for you and your baby.

Lottie, Caleb loves his baths too, just lies there chillin' out, and loves lying on his side too.
His big sister is trying to kill him with kisses, and even tried to pick him up off my lap lastnight! A bit scary!

Hope everyone is well and babies keeping gaining weight!

Good to see you all in here.

I too felt like i had failed with bf, but this was due to lack of milk. Levi is happy on the bottle and at least i know how much he is getting so its peace of mind.
His christening was on sunday and everything went well and a lot of our family and friends finally got to meet him. He is doing well now, 8 weeks old on monday. I need to get him weighed this wednesday and im expecting him to be just over the 4 kgs mark. So he is doin great for 6 weeks premi. A real lil chubba now hehe.
I think there has been quite a few more bubs in the last few days.
Hi Girls,

Its good to hear that all our babies are going well.

Kathryn - we will our go through our little bit of the baby blues. But it was good to hear that you have the support of both your mum and your husband. Its good to know your not alone and can talk to them. Keep up the good work with Breastfeeding, your doing well.

The midwife came over yesterday and did the foot prick which made Dominic cry. It was then that she noticed that he is "Tounge Tied". huh (The tounge is attached to the gum too high up) So lucky we are bottle feeding because she said that he would of had a lot of trouble attaching to the boob. You don't know all of this until you are told. I tought his tounge looked fine. unsure

Dispite that, we are doing well. He's drinking fine from the bottle and when weighed for the first time, weighed the same as at birth.

Enjoy your time with your little ones. They will grow up too quickly.
Hi all,

Well, at 3 weeks old it appears that we may have a night time sleep routine! Down at 9, then sleep through to 2-3 and then through to 5-6! Yes, I know that 5 is early to be up, but only getting up once a night is bliss.....lets hope it lasts.

Hi ladies,

I finally found time to come online and announce our baby girl Harper Elke born 3 days early on 17th October. Life is crazy with 2 girls under 2 but i am so happy emotionally and know that even if the craziness doesn't subside - we are so very happy and laugh a lot smile

Harper is only 150g off her birth weight (3750g or 8 pound 4oz) so doing really well. Seems to be a really chilled out baby at this stage and breastfeeding is going well.

Looking forward to hearing how all oor wee ones are progressing smile
