Sleep and amber necklaces
Do you take your necklace off for sleeping or leave it on?
I have heard some mums leave them on and I have also heard others wrap them around bub's ankle for sleeps.
OH! It's really work!
My husband and I were happy when it became our little lady. It was a wonderful quiet child. But when we cut through our daughter's teeth lost sleep and became very restless. This is our first child and it was hard. Get up early for work and we are exhausted. About Amber first time I heard from my grandmother and started studying. Here's an example you know, wearing baltic amber close to the skin is a traditional European remedy for baby teething. A natural analgesic, amber will help calm a baby without resorting to drugs. Used for centuries in Europe, amber's natural anti-inflamitory and pain relieving properties are perfect to soothe teething babies. Amber is fossilized resin, which warms against the skin, releasing it's theraputic properties safely and naturally. I was amazed at the information but has not yet been tested to determine their own experience did not believe it. Now I say, it works. Today my husband and I sell amber goods and rejoice when customers tell us thank you.

Amber cleans the atmosphere, fills it with light and makes hope to come true. This is a very powerful and mysterious stone-resin and its properties have not been fully investigated yet.

i leave it on.
i was told that the way each bead is individually knotted on means it is very safe, and will break before it can cause damage to bub.

I leave it on, I took it off the first couple of nights, but I actually find that it works most effectively left on as much as possible, and she doesn't even notice its there (doesn't grab it etc.)
The beads are individually knotted, so if it were to break there aren't going to be beads everywhere and just check it every now and then & check its still fastened firmly.

My daughter has had hers on since she was 4 months old and she is now 16 months. We never take it off as I think the point of having one is keeping it on all of the time. It gets cleaned when she has a bath and as previous posts have said, every bead is knotted individiually and it has a snap release if pulled so it is safe to wear.
Thanks ladies, apparently nan has got one for her for christmas, just wondering if I should leave it on all the time! smile
I put it on her ankle at night, usually leave it around her neck in day sleeps.
I always remove it at bath time as getting the necklace wet can make the string rot and break more easily (not really dangerous but will get expensive!).

I usually leave it on for day naps, and take it off at night and at bathtime. But after seeing these replies, I might just leave it on all the time!
