I have heard there is a really good teething cream that you can get from the womens and childrens hospital (I am in adelaide). I don't need it yet with my bubs but my friends have all been raving about it. Can only get at the hospital now.
My girls been teething on and off for a few months, bloody terrible. I tried just about everything on the market (personally and on my girl). Brauers has a slight silicony feel which makes your mouth feel different and a subtle sweet raspberry taste which are both okay, but it doesnt have any lasting effect on pain. If you only need something to occasionally distract them then it might be helpful. But if you need some pain relief I'd suggest sm33.
Bonjela has had some bad press (I couldn't be bothered researching to find out if there is an actual link to medical problems or not) so i chucked out the 3/4 tube i had tried. It didnt do much in the way of pain relief anyway.
Good luck.
hello the brewers teething drops works great
within ten minutes the pain seems to settle and she will sleep!!!
many a time I am like na...she needs panadol and I go to get it and she is asleep ......
works quickly
amber teething necklaces worked for my babies. We didn't need to use any gels after the babies started wearing them. ps. they are for wearing not chewing (I didn't now this!) ha ha

i got mine online here: http://wassco.com.au/shop-online/wassco-teething-necklaces/
