Is there any 'words' your baby uses Rss

My DS can say Mum, Dad and has said a few odd words here and there,
whether by accident or not is beyond my knowledge.

However he has started to say 'Ahshut' when he wants something, like my bottle of water or his dummy. I'm not sure what he is actually trying to say, if anything but it is really cute because he points with his entire arm and hand and says it. It is always the same sound.

Is there any sounds or words your toddler makes or made prior to being able to actually vocalise in proper words?
DD says Mama & Bubba, and when she wants a bottle she calls Boo-Boo... she also says yi yi yi yi... Its not a word but she uses it whenever she is telling us off lol!!!, Not to bad for a 5 1/2 mth old laugh
haha yes my little one is 15months and she can say a the basic mum dad atalia nanma nandad tanna (all her family pretty much) but whenever she wants something she points and says 'ndat' which i have interpreted to means 'I want that' lol its very cute but she says it all day long. kinda reminds me of the guy in little brittan 'Want dat one' LOL

when little master wants yoghurt he says trusty steed bulleye. And when he wants a drink he says fill and that when he wants you to fill his drink up too.

I find it cute when they say something that they want

DS usually says mine or ahhmeee if he wants something unless it mummy daddy or mani (the kitten) doggie or birdy

So cute!

DD2 (15mths old) is calling every small fluffy animal a 'pup pup' (ie puppy) at the moment as she is obsessed with dogs.

And all birds are 'chook chooks' as we have chickens.

That is what I think DS is trying to say 'Want That' but it comes out a little lispy wink

Very cute!
DD says "wossat" meaning what's that? And she points at whatever shes talking about.

First we had Each Other, Then we had You, Now we have Everything

My DS normally points (with his arm smile ) and says "ah ah" when he wants something. He can say "mama", "dada" and "jojo" (dog's name). He also says "goh" when he drops something, or when we say "all gone" when he finishes his meal. Sometimes when he looks really annoyed he says "gi gi gi". It's funny because sometimes he says things which sound like actual words - like on Thursday we got him up and sang Happy Birthday to him and then DH said "it's David's birthday today" to him, and then DS repeated "David birthday" really clearly. so cute wub

Naww wub very cute!

My DS says 'Gee Gee Agug' when he is happy and excited it's really funny.

I said to him yesterday, 'Do you want to watch incy wincy spider?' and he repeated back to me 'Incy! A Gee Gee Agug' I lost it with laughter.
if he wants a drink he passes a cup or bottle and goes ah-ah-ah in this high pitched voice
but lately has been doing that for everything else so he confuses me now lol

and when I don't know what he want he bites or bangs his head so I try to work out what he wants and when I have worked that out I have to work out what he wants me to do with it lol

wub how cute
isn't it funny how all babies say similar things - it's like they have their own language smile

Haha they are confusing little critters aren't they!?

DS growls at me when I don't get what he wants right...today I thought he wanted his dummy, and then a roll of sticky tape...turned out he wanted my glass of water. He was jumping around and grunting like a loony before I realised what he wanted!

they are confusing but it's a mystery trying to find out what they want he was wanting me to do something with his truck today I thought he wanted me to push him on it and he started banging his head so I pressed the buttons on it he bit it(mind you I still don't know what he wanted) but I love having him even if he is an enigma lol

My son who is now 2, used to say "Ah-dun" for Thank You I think, when he was about 8 months... it then became some kind of language base to go with other strange "words" and sounds - one day we met a little boy at the doctors who said the same "Ah-dun" word. Strange.
