im a 19 year old single mum and r lookin for any helpful advice on anythin thats to do wit babies.i have a 7 month old little girl n have no idea what im doin rite or wrong its all very new to me..... please help wit helpful advise
on my second baby girl. very tricky specially when they have gone poos and its somehow manages to get in there. I just use a wet wipe or wet soft cloth and careful wipe it out. trying not to get it in any further.
hi, i was 19 when i had my first bubs i now 34 and my third child is now 8mths so i can try and help.
hi new to this formum thing and i think i clicking on the wrong thing.lol
I have read in a literature (I can't remember where), it said that you should not wash the inside of her vaginal area (inner flaps). I always make sure to wipe her from top of her vaginal to bottom, especially after she has done a pooh. When I bathed her, I used face washer to give it a quick wash on the outside but never washes her inner flaps.
Hello, I had the same problem with my son, (getting under his scrotem and testes) I found that if you bathe the babe in "Baby milk Bath" (avaliable in the baby section) that it cleans well without irritation. A baby massage after with some veggie oil or baby massage oil will clear anything you have missed.
Congrats on the bub.

Hi, my DS is teething and seems to be in a lot of pain, i gave him baby panadol 2 hours ago, what is the soonest i could safely give him some more?
Hi Janey5,

I have a wee boy 9mths that is teething all the time, he know has his 3rd tooth & is getting another very soon. I understand how stressful this can be at times to comfort & also try to get rest. I to use pamol, directions for used should be on the back.. pamol you can use once every 4 hours and do not exceed use over 24hrs. If you have any real concerns try phoning a free healthline, they are good at reassuring you and giving you helpful information.

There is no harm in ringing anytime you want:).
Also on occasion I use bonjella form the supermarket.
Try also giving your baby a damp cloth, mine seemed to cling to it. Teething rings, rusks from supermarket, cold banana.

I also found that my baby was very wakeful, and needed me with him, comfort is what they need, and just remember that they are crying and irritable only because of the teething stage, this will pass and you will find that it becomes easier to know what to do and why they are out of sorts.

My baby gets flu like symptoms when getting a tooth.

Well that's enough from me, hope this helps.

i have a three year old daughter and now a 3month baby girl. i have found everyone has their own way of doing things, you need to see what fits best with your lifestyle. my best advice would be BE CONSISTENT, this applies to everything- behaviour management, bedtime, feeding and everything else in your babies life.
I have a 4 month old and i can relate to how you feel. If theres any questions you have ill be happy to answer them for you.

hi i;m annies mum molly bye
I found the womens and childrens teething gel fantastic from the hospital in adeladie. also the brauers natural medine range is fantastic and nurafen for babies can be good to help to sleep if really bad.
Hi there,
its hard to say it really without it being rude!
Anyway, my little girl was 4 weeks prem and was in the special car nursey. The nurses gave me a tip that after giving her a bath if there was still any residue left, to get a cotton ball wet with luke warm water and gently wipe.
I would not suggest using any wipes or anything in there......only becuase of the lotion and so on its soaked in.

I know it was a simple answer but it was what I was taught!
Hope it helps

hi i'm brody's mummy im 19 and live with my boyfriend, my sons 14 months and would love to meet other young mums.
[font="Arial"]Hi, I'm 9 weeks on this Monday coming, and I found out from my mum that she was pretty ill when she was pregnant with my brother and myself... and I haven't really had much morning sickness, she got it at like 4 - 5 weeks, and I've only had it like 3 times this week.. and didnt get it yesterday but feel crappy all day, sometimes more than others.. If my mum got morning sickness early does this mean I have to or can it be different anyway? please help im kinda confused[/font
I am 30 weeks preg (at 21yrs) with my second. And both times have been totally different morning sickness, got it heaps with my first (who is now 3) and with this one i haven't had anything. So I don't think you can really compare what your mum went through.

Hi i'm 35 weeks Today. i am due on the 24th April. but am very keen on having my first little one before that date as it is easter sunday and i'd like to have the baby on the 19th lol. I am the one of 7 in my family this year to be having a baby 2 out of the 2 have been born already. 2 more are coming next week. so everything is very exciting in my family atm.
This is my first baby and i was hell scared when i found out now i cant wait to meet my little person, who we decided not to find out the sex, but everyone with a voice had told me its a boy lol. we will soon know.

I would love to meet any first time mummy's and get to know how your pregnancy is/was.. grin
...
hi i am 20 weeks pregnant and at 8 weeks i was told my the doctor that I was pregnant with twins but at 12 weeks only one baby was seen it could have been vanishing twin syndrome and was wondering if someone that is pregnant with twins had this happen or did one of their twins was hiding, did one of the twins reappear i sometimes feel movements on both side of my belly
i am 23 and due with my first baby in february next year. it is all such a new experience for me with the pains and everything i am going through. worked in child care for 8 years so kind of have experience in that way but only after the baby is born. for now everything is a mystery to me
we're all sick at the moment, so the BabyComfyNose nasal aspirator is working a charm, I'm using it 5 times a day, now that she is sick.. This BabyComfyNose uses your own suction to remove mucus from your baby’s nose. i was a bit put off with the idea of sucking the snot out of my babies nose but I'm really impressed with how effective and safe it is at removing baby mucus!!! i tried the bulb aspirators that you get from the chemist but this aspirator works 10 times better. It's cheap too, only $19.95 plus postage $4.75. I got it from the website BabyComfyNose Australia money very well spent. i love this thing
