When do they hold a bottle?

Hello ladies,

Just wondering at what age they start holding the bottle on their own? it would be heaven when Tahlia can do this - especially during summer.

hey, damon isn't quite 5 months old but is trying to hold his bottle, it's the co-ordination of getting it to his mouth that is the problem. some babies hold it early others maybe 5-6 months old. also depends how long bubs has been on the bottle for too.

I'm not going to use bottles, but my DD can hold her own Sippy cup now whilst in her high chair. It only took about a week till she got the hang of it. I only give her water in it at this stage to sip on with her solid meals. I did notice that if I filled it more than half way she struggled to hold it up. I suppose it would be a lot heavier. Not sure if that helps, I assume holding a bottle would be similar.

DD is 3yr 8 months - DS is 6 months
