Babies born by vacuum extraction Rss

Hi,
Just wondering if anybody else had a baby born by vacuum extraction and has found that their development has been affected?
I know all children are different and I try not to compare my youngest son to my eldest or other babies, and I'm not overly concerned, but I would be interested to hear other people's experiences. For example, Logan has a flat spot on the back of his head. The first 3 months he cried almost constantly, had trouble sleeping, feeding etc. Then at 3 months he became very happyand placid but he was still a bit behind in rolling, vocalising, sitting up etc. Since the 6 month mark he seems to be catching up quickly and is overall meeting all the 'milestones'.
We are booked in to see a chiropractor in a couple of weeks, has anyone else been and found they helped? What are the fees like?

Hi, i had my baby girl my vacuum extraction.
She had a lump on the top of her head for a while, but it has gone done heaps. i dont think it has affected her in anyway. i didn't lay her on it for a while till it was down, but i dont think it would affect them in any way.

My little one is only four months so not as far as yours, but she is doing everything to the development charts. She is a very happy baby and her lump is gone. I think babies do things at there own pace, my friends baby does things that mine doesn't, but mine does things that her's doesn't. And they are one week apart.

I dont think it is anything to worry about. i have never taken her anywhere for it, because it didn't become a problem, though maybe hers was in an ok spot on the side of her head..

I know some babies with a flat spot on the back of there heads. not sure but maybe it is because they are on the back laying down a lot of the time.
My little on sleeps on her tummy, and i sit her up in a swing and that during the day, but thats me. but a lot of babies with flat heads, is because there on there back all the time. dont worry.

Hope my info was helpful. take care
