Hello ladies,


I am starting to get concerned with Tahlia's development so would love to hear what your bubs are doing at this age.

Tahlia will be 7 months on this Saturday and current weighs 7.7 kg.

My eldest daughter Vanessa was sitting all by herself at 5 months and in full crawling mode at 7 months.

Tahlia can not even sit on her own for more than 1 second and is showing no signs of crawling either. I know all bubs are different but there is such a big difference between the 2 of them that I was curious to see what your bubs are up too and also if you have 2 or more children, how different they were compared to each other.

Tahlia will be going to the doctors on Friday so I can speak to my doctor about my concerns but would in the meantime love to hear from you lovely ladies and see what you think and how all your wonderful bubs are coming along.

On a good note, Tahlia says Mama and yum yum. She has 3 solid foods a day, rolls back to front and vice versa, picks everyting up within her reach, can put her own dummy in, hold the bottle and feed herself with it and absloutely loves the water - can't have enough of it.

my son Joe is 7.5 months and he can
roll from back to tummy and sometimes the other way too
sit unassisted, but loves standing up
he pulls himself up on the play pen and tries to pull himself up on your leg,
he helps turn the pages of a book,
loves baby einstein dvd's,
he says mumma when upset and da da when he wants to play and have fun,
He doesnt crawl but but somehow in his cot (as he is a tummy sleeper) he manages to get himself up to the top of the cot???
Joe eats 3 meals a day holds his own water bottle and loves bath time - splashing himself in the face with the water and trying to drink it.

My close friends little girl is a couple of weeks younger than Joe and all she does is lie on the floor, giggle and babble. She wont sit, eat, has trouble with a bottle, doesnt like toys etc......so as I am sure that you are aware babies are very very different. Try not to worry, am sure that Tahlia is fine, and that in a little bit of time she will all of sudden learn to do everything at once.

Mark is 7 months on Sunday. He's a bit of a mixture really.
He did roll a couple of times, both ways, but then refused to do it again.
Has been sitting up since 5 months, and now refuses to lie down, so can't see that he's going to crawl anytime soon.
Will walk from room to room holding our fingers and stand all day if you hold him, but not interested in pulling himself up yet.
He has also in the last week taken to sucking his thumb - not impressed with that and have spent all week knocking it back out again! LOL.
Says dada and bubub and laughs all the time.
Can bottle feed himself and loves finger foods. Also chews everything in sight, including the tray of the high chair.
Loves musical toys and one truck that moves when you hit the drivers head. Also loves to throw all his blocks out of a bowl....
He loves books, god forbid anyone takes one off him. Also loves the water.
He is addicted to Bear in the Big Blue House and Little Einsteins (a Playhouse Disney show on Foxtel), but can't stand the Wiggles.

It's nice to see how all the bubs are progressing. Hard to believe they are all so different at about the same age. Would love to keep in touch to see how they are going.
