My little man had one at 2 weeks, he gained 390grams in 6 days and then again at 3 weeks, this time he gained 550grams in a week.
The first one I found hard but the second one was so much easier, happened pretty much the same as the first but I must have learnt to cope with it lol. So when did your little ones have their growth spurts and how did you find them? The only thing that annoyed me a bit was how often I had to feed DS!

wow thats some serious gain in such a short time! Up until recently DS has gained around 250g every 5 days - pretty steady. The last few days he has been feeding constantly so having a growth spurt at the moment, will need to wait until Monday for his weight though.
I have found it quite hard, while he is awake he will feed, wait for 20 minutes and feed again and pretty much repeat until he goes back to sleep again. Sleeps have been shorter too but he has been easier to put down when it is nap time iykwim.

Its exciting seeing his little double chin and his cheeks filling out though smile

I never got my kids weighed weekly.

I'm with happy head. Have never taken my girls to a child health clinic to be weighed.

I have no idea when they had growth spurts, only if they fed a bit more regularly. I just see that she is gaining weight and doing things right smile

DD2 was 2.9kg born and was 4.2@6wks and and 10wks is 5.5kg. But no idea when the big weight gains happened. BTW my babies are small. DD1 is only 12kg. smile

totally off topic, but do you know if Tee & Baby has had her little one yet? Was trying to send her a message but still not able to smile

Cool thanks for the feedback smile I've just had my midwife come around once a week and she weighs him.

Miss_Bee: No I have no idea! I thought she would have had her little girl by now.. Might try and get a hold of her email..we had antenatal classes together. I think there's only once girl left to go due on christmas day smile
