First Word Rss

What do you think is grounds to say is a first word...

Is it when they go Dadadadadad or Bubububububub

Or

When they say something associated with something

I don't know whether or not to count mr 8 months old grand attempt at communication last night he said achoo because we play a game where we pretend to sneeze and he thinks it's funny as.

My oldest boy said cat when a cat walked past and that was super obvious.

I guess what I'm asking is - is achoo a first word?
Yeah, I'd count it! It's all about communication I reckon. He was copying what you said and I reckon that's definitely to be counted!
did he act like he was sneezing too? If so then yes for sure! I think if you can tell they understand the word it counts.
16 wk old ds goes mumumumum sometimes but is just making noises. When he's older if he can point at me & say it or if dp said "where's mum?" and he looked at me & said it i would count it.
First word! How exciting for you!
