At what age... Rss

Hi ladies,

Just wondering when I can be expecting my dd to start rolling over? She's 3 months old now and has rolled over twice, the first at 7 weeks and the second time at 9 weeks but nothing since.

DS was 12weeks the first time and did it rarely after that but he never really rolled much he didn't like

From tummy to back was 3 months & back to tummy was around 4.5 months. After the first time DS rolled we had to wait patiently for another week before he did it again, than there was no stopping him! He rolled everywhere & I have been busy ever since hahaha smile
DS done it from front to bak 5time when he was 5weeks old then didnt do it again till he was 8weeks and now he will do it some days then its like hes forgotten lol.
hasnt roll from bak to front yet
Awesome, hopefully dd rolls over soon then. She's been showing signs but nothing as yet smile

DS rolled over for DH the first time at 11 weeks. Like others it took another week before he was doing it regularly and then another week or so after that to go from back to front.
My daughter (who is now 3.5 years) rolled over about 12 weeks...

My son, who is now 2 months old today, rolled tummy to back at 4 weeks (nearly died of shock) and back to tummy at 8 weeks (he gave himself a big fright). RIght from birth he's had really strong legs, so I won't be suprised if he does other things early.

I'm still waiting for DD to roll over and she will be 4 months old on the 19th sad

DD#2 has just gone 14 weeks old and she first rolled tummy to back at 11 weeks, but it took a bit for her to do it more often. She is trying her hardest to roll back to front but isnt quite there yet!
Both my DDs could roll from front to back early on from about 3-7 weeks old, but I never really counted that as rolling so to say. DD1 didnt rioll till 5mths3wks (she was a wee chubba bubba!) and DD2 started rolling back to front at 3mnths2weeks but cant go the other way yet and keeps getting stuck!!!!
DD was 12wks, front to back, think 16wks back to front

DS - 3.5wks!!! Couldn't believe it, and thought it was a fluke, but he did it consistently... 10wks back to front!

But can be months before they do. Don't rush them, nice for them to be in the place where you left them!!!

Don't worry - my DS first (properly) rolled at exactly 6 months. He's now almost walking (cruises holding onto things). He did start doing other things very early - like smiling, cooing, picking up small objects, passing things from one hand to the other and saying mama and dada. He can now also say the dogs name and even says "no Jojo" when we don't let him feed her from his high chair. All kids develop at different pace. It's not a competition smile

Okay, that makes me feel better smile Thank you

One thing that DD does do, if you hold her hands whilst she's laying down, she will pull herself most of the way to a sitting position by herself! I've had a couple of people say she'll probably sit up before she rolls over!
