My 7 month old son has just got vomitting and runny poos.
He will drink his bottles only to throw it up shortly after.
What advice were people given about giving solids, milk etc to their little ones when they were sick with this?
Some tell me to give him solids, others dont. I dont know what I should be doing.

This is the second time my little man has got this now and Im feeling really guilty too.
I keep thinking it is something I am doing that is making him sick!!!!!!! I wish I could just make it all better.'

Hi my boys have not long ago had this too and the advice from the Hospital was no solids and to give 60ml(or whatever your little one is on divided by 4) every hour and then day 2 120 mls every 2 hrs then day 3 full bottles then day 4 intro solids again but if bubs cant stomach the increase stay on what can tollerate untill they will take more just soooo vital to keep those fluids up as doc said they will make up for it and believe me they HAVE . When DD started to react to solids I stripped back to just breast feeds then gradually re-introduced solids. It helped me identify what was causing the problems. I'm not sure if your bub is reacting to solids though - poor little fella. Do you think it could be linked to teething? It sounds a bit too extreme to be that, just wondered what you were thinking. Don't you feel guilty, its always a guessing game with these little 'bundles of joy' - LOL.
