Folic acid tablets and breastfeeding

Hi does anyone know if its safe to take folic acid tablets while breastfeeding? I would like to try for number two baby but im still breastfeeding and i want to take folic acid tablets.

Maybe you could look at the pregnancy and breast feeding formulas. I use the Blackmores one, its brilliant - I can really tell when I forget to take one. It has all the extra recommended supplements including folic acid. Best of luck trying for number 2 - how exciting !!!

DD is 3yr 8 months - DS is 6 months
