temps Rss

my bubs has a bit of cold going on at the moment wanting to know how low a tempt can go before i should be really concerned. i thought it was anything below 36?

She also hasnt eaten anything in a day and a half only drinking bottles notg even water which is very out of character for her.
sad poor bubs

If temp wont go down/stay down after a couple of doses of panadol, thats when i normally visit the dr...especially if not eating or drinking water. Are nappys wet?
I have always been told you should treat temperatures in babies very seriously if it does not come down after 12 hours with panadol. I think the main concern is dehydration but if she is still drinking thats a great sign, dont worry too much about not eating, i know when im sick i never feel like eating but dont let it go too much longer. best of luck to you
I see that you are actually asking about what is too LOW a temp.

I read that if bubs has a temp below 36 to wrap them warmly and check temp in 15 mins. If it hasn't risen see your doctor. I would ask your GP what they recommend or you could ring that 13health number if you're in australia?

she came good and started eating solids the following night thank goodness
It also depends a bit on how accurate your themometer. When not sick, we are all about 36.6 on our under arm themom, even tho normal temp is meant to be about 37.2 I think.
