Hey everyone,

Just curious if anyone has used a dummy thermometer and if they work? They seem like the perfect idea...
I have a digital thermometer to use under baby's armpit but it says on the instructions this is the least accurate way to measure temp?

Any other recommendations greatly appreciated...

I looked into getting one but decided on the digital for under the armpit as this is what they used on DS when he was in hosp smile I hadn't heard that they were less accurate, I wouldn't have thought so as this is what they use in neo nates and intensive care for babies smile
But I can say it is sometimes a mission trying to take DS's temp if he is feeling wriggley and is wearing certain clothes. So a dummy one would fix that particular problem!

I have a dummy one, the hospital says they are unreliable at times, but mine has been spot on every time (I have a rectal back up as we have serious fever issues so have to keep on top)
