I am a little worried about our 2 month old DS as he has had diarrhea for the past 2.5 weeks. He had his injections and rotavirus syrup and then within a few days started having the runs and vomiting. Vomiting seems to be every time he lies on his back. He was admitted to hospital 2 weeks ago for dehydration but they discharged him after a day. He is breastfeed (eating well) and seems to be still happy and smiley. The hospital said it was rotavirus (was detected in his poo sample which was expected). unsure unsure

I also had mastitis around the same time and took strong antibiotics but have been off them for a week. blink

He has started dribbling and chewing his hand so could this be the start of teething or something else??

It could be the start of teething, but...

If you are really worried go to emergency otherwise i'd head to your gp in the morning. He's too little to have vomiting and diarrhea that has lasted so long.

I don't know about the antibiotics? I was on it with my ds and it didn't affect him.
