Ok people I have a 13m old dd with gastro she is still bf. I am just wondering what I should concentrate on more trying to get her to drink water, more frequent feeds or both.Never had to deal with gastro at such a young age and it's freaking me out any advice would be helpfull.

When my babies had this I would just offer more feeds, she is going to get alot of goodness from BM and it will be easier to hold down.
If you happen to get it too then sip a gastrolyte type solution and take care of yourself while continuing to feed because your immune strengh to the illness will pass on to your baby

You can get gastrolyte ice-pops at the chemist to keep her well hydrated too.

Thanks alot much appreciated thank god my dd is alot tougher then her brother she is recovering alot quicker than I expected.She has stopped vomiting now and is holding her fluids down just very tired.Was quite a shock felt very helpless watching her being sick thanks again xx
