First tooth!!!

Hello lovely ladies of Huggies smile
My son's first tooth has started coming through overnight on sunday. It's sticking out twice as much as it was monday. He's been so great with it, gets a bit frustrated sometimes but he just finds something to chew on smile
I was just wondering how long did it take your little one's teeth to come out once they started? I can feel his tooth and you can see just the tip of it and his gums are swollen. The plunket nurse had a look yesterday but I forgot to ask how long it will take. I know every baby's different, just thought it might be nice to share.

Do you mean you can feel the sharpness of the little tooth? I think with my DS from when I first felt the sharp tooth sticking through to when it was fully up was a least a couple of weeks or more, but can't totally remember. All I remember was we cut our first 6 teeth in 3 weeks....

Is it one of his front bottom tooth hun?

So exciting. My DD2 cut both her bottom teeth within a few days of each other. It's been through the skin now for a week and a half or so and well and truely visable. It probably took 5days for it to be really noticeable to people who didn't know they were there. smile

Yup very sharp, starting to hurt when he bites my fingers lol. I can see it pretty well too but he wriggles away when I try to get a good look.

No, thankfully he was pretty good!!! I thought they were never going to stop popping through tho!!!! We got number 7 through on Saturday, so we had a good break from teeth!!! My DS has got a bad habit now of grabbing hold of my hand/finger really tight and lunging forward and biting on my finger, so I feel your pain when your son bites on your fingers!!!!! grin laugh

That's awesome smile Haha ouch!! I shouldn't complain then, the worst is yet to come! This tooth hasn't come out any more since Tuesday. DS is sleeping heaps more since it started coming out!! 6 to 7 hours at night it's awesome smile
