yellow spots on the head?

I have just noticed today my ds has some yellow spots on his head. Theres about 6 and their tiny, in the area size of your thumbprint. I have never seen them before and I am sure i would have. They are under his hair. I wonder what they are? Its like they have been drawn on with a felt tip pen..... blink

if you scratch them does it come off? If so, it's probably cradle cap. Rub some oil on it a little while before giving him a bath and washing his hair. Do that a few times and it should all go away.

Definately cradle cap.

You can get solutions from the chemist and there are plenty of home remedies too. Don't stress it's harmless to bubs, but if you don't get onto it quick it will spread and becomes quite yukky looking.

My friend used a very soft glove loofah with some olive oil for her baby.

It can be either from a fungal infection or it can be as a result of hormones left in your baby's body from pregnancy.
