Swisse appetite suppressant - bad or good?? Rss

I don't want this to sound like an ad for this product but just wondering if anyone's tried the Swisse appetite suppressant that's being heavily advertised today during the Melbourne Cup? I am always a bit cynical about things like this but they say it uses a natural ingredient from a cactus plant. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has any experience of this product. TIA!

I haven't heard of them before, going to look into them though =)
I think they're pretty new. I haven't tried them either yet (obviously).
I might look into it actually, sounds very interesting and worth a go. I tend to over eat and if these tablets could help that would be awesome haha
Working great!! Take one straight away when you wake up, te other at 4pm (no later or you will be up all night) definatley noticed changes in hunger- feel really bloated at night time but definatley not eating as much! Exercising & eating 1200 calories a day- hoping to get pre-baby body back! Bub is 15 months & we are weaning at the moment, but wouldn't recommend if bub was still getting all her nutrients from you! Good luck! smile
Don't forget that losing weight whilst you're pregnant can lead to your baby putting on weight extra quickly once it's born. This is one of the reasons we are seeing so much childhood obesity - Mums tried to lose weight (or were even told by their doctors that the had to) especially during that first trimester and that resulted in genetic changes their child will never lose. It's also passed on, when the child becomes an adult.

If you lose weight at this time, your body tells the baby in the womb there isn't enough nutrition for it, so when its genes are formed, they grab fat and hold onto it. Whatever "modern wisdom" tells you, the body sees fat as a protective mechanism. It's a common problem in countries where they suffer from famine.
