First Time Mum Feeling tired baby unsettled for nap times. Three month old. Rss

Hello just wanted to get some others opinions about your baby and how you were feeling?
Dd is three months old now , things going very well but over the last week or so she has become unsettled. She is still sleeping well at night with shorter naps in the days. What i have noticed is she is much harder to settle. She is tired but screams the house down..nothinghas changed we still do the same as when she born.. we dont let her go more than an hour and half two maximum because she gets overtired...anyway i am feeling really tired her screams are so loud and it seems I cant do anything to stop her...evenutualy it does stop and she falls asleep.
I am taking her to doctors this week, I am breast feeding and I have cut out watermelon acidy foods etc.
does anyone have any info on what I should be eating? thanks heaps guys and congratulations on your baby! i think she is going through the three month growth spurt...ahhhh
my boy is 3 months also and has been unsettled the last couple days. he usually sleeps when i want him to and thru the night. it could just be the 3 month growth spurts.
i dont breast feed so im really no help at all but i would try the food thing. cut out things one at time like first try dairy products etc and foods that babies are more likely to be allergic to. i have been told that chocolate can really upset breastfed babies aswel.
good luck tho, hopefully a dr can give you answers smile
Could be the growth spurt as per previous post. Is it hotter now perhaps she needs a little drink to quench her thirst? My first baby was a winter baby and until the community nurse mentioned it, it had not occured to me that just like us they need a drink after their play times. I try to give my bubba a drink about 1/2 hour before her scheduled sleep time if I can so she is not relying on the boob to go to sleep and she has become much easier to put down for her day sleeps. My little girl is now 4mths. So many different things to try! I'm still learning so many things and this is my second, good luck with it I hope ur bub settles down soon for you!
I think this used to be called "three month colic" back in the days!!
I assume you pay up baby's wind every few minutes when you're feeding? If not, that'll help.
Try laying your baby on her tummy and gently rubbing her back, or gently rubbing her tummy to see if she loses wind at either end roll eyes
Sometimes it takes more than the few little burps you do during a feed, to dispel the wind and it can really hurt that poor wee tummy.
Sounds like my DD last week, she was going through a growth spurt. She was really sooky and wouldn't settle during the day. I fed her every 3 hours, instead of every 4 & it seemed to do the trick. If it is a growth spurt it will probably only last a couple of days. My DD is back to her old self now.
