oh god not again :( i want to cry Rss

Oh no! sad

Do you think it could be the caffeine in your milk? Some babies are very sensitive to it and it can really effect them.

Hope tonight is better for you guys smile

thanks windmill

hes been a bit better since i posted this thread but has gone downhill again roll eyes it seems to make no difference wether i have caffine or not, my DS1 was sensitive to it so that was the first thing i eliminated, i went several days just drink herbal tea or hot chocolate but he still woke alot.

we now all have head colds in my house, well we all have colds hubby has the dreaded man flu and swears that the world is coming to an end for him and that i should arrange funeral insurance just in case lol so no-one i getting much sleep in my house atm!!

ahh well i actually think bub is starting to teethe a bit now poor bubby

we found our son was starting to wake more in the night so we put him down a little before hes tired and let him cry to sleep its the on ly way he would tire himself out.
If we did it any other way he would be up most of the night. I alsoo tilt the cot because he was getting woken from refux. now he wakes 1-2 times a night.

Also if you have a dimmer lamp to use for when you get up to him i would recommend it as a brighter light woke buba up proper then he def wouldnt go back to sleep.

just some ideas

elevating the cot helps when hes got a stuffy nose but hes not refluxy or windy (thankfully) lol his burps turn heads grin theyre so loud they crack me up

i have s tiny night light that i use, but normally the light from the beadside clocks enought to see by to feed him in bed

i dont agree with controlled crying tho with such a young bub, not critisising your choice its not right for us smile
Sorry to hear you're having a rough time sad Would you consider taking him to see a chiropractor? I took DS when he was about 10 weeks as he had terrible reflux. After the first adjustment his sleep improved over night, it was incredible. And the reflux was all gone after about 6 adjustments.
