it's basic math...you need to burn more than you consume. Having said that, if it were so easy we wouldn't have an obseity problem.
If your really serious, try calorie counting.
If that's not your thing and you really do want to lose weight, then you will need to swap your foods. I'm sorry, but roast chicken is not going to help you lose weight! why not crumb chicken breasts yourself and cook in non stick or lightly sprayed pan? I'd look at the things you eat, and cook them/prepare them differently, perhaps your meal sizes are too big? I found I was plating me up the same amount as my partner whose taller, bigger and plays footy...I don't need that much.
Also drink water, it's awesome. smile
I highly recommend Michelle Bridges 12WBT smile
I joined weight watchers to help me lose the baby weight. If you don't want to go to the meetings, once you sign up you can do it all online. I love it, as no foods are off limits but you become accountable for what you eat, so you learn how to make healthier choices.
Hi smile

Can I ask of the other foods you like to eat?
I may be able to help you with new ideas & tips!

I love food, turning something simple into something really nutritious
And filling:)

In the meantime though
-get a good night's sleep
-keep really well hydrated
-keep active

& most importantly- when you wake up in the morning, wash your face, tell yourself you are beautiful and can do this!

xx
I dont no about anyone else but dont fall for all the pills and crazy diets, They were a complete waste of time for me. Most of the people who sell them only seem like they want to make a few quick bucks out of it. I put on 20kgs during pregnancy and iv lost 18kg of it purely from excercising 30minutes a day (Either walking, pilates, tabata or weights) and trying to eat natural food, none of the processed stuff. I tryed to stay away from meat except for fish and occasionally chicken. Your nutritional needs might be completely different to me though. The best advice i can say is healthy food and excercise grin And you have to be persistent to get results. It took me 5 months for it to drop off. Good luck

thankyou ladies im now excersing 5-6 days a week and counting my calorie intake its dropped alot now i no how many calories are in things i use to eat! unbeleivable the amount i use to eat but im hoping to loose these kgs soon enough thankyou everyone so much smile
Well done Missmaltese1 sounds like your doing really well smile
Another thing you could try is to cut down how much food you eat with added sugar. My dh has been losing weight the last few months and really has only cut out sugar and has lost over 16kg.

Keep up the good work hun smile
oh thats good to no thankyou smile
Good on you for putting in so much effort already!
I lost 10 kilos a few months ago by taking part in the channel 10 million kilo challenge. The challenge is obviously over now but the website behind it, weigh it up, is free to join & use & is a great resource.
The have heaps of recipes on there that you can choose from to make up a weekly meal plan & it will create a shopping list for you.
They recommend starting the day with a glass of water with lemon then a healthy breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack & dinner with the option of a night time snack too. Eating freaquently through the day can really boost your metabolism especially if you eat at the same times each day. If your body is expecting the calories it will start using them straight away & burn them up! They also recommend a full glass of water before every meal to help suppress your appetite a little & keep hydrated.

Good luck! smile
