Home remedy for scalp psoriasis Rss

If there is any other scalp psoriasis sufferers around I thought I would share a home remedy I'm using that is working for me. I have suffered from it for years but it has been worse since having ds. But now it's so much better.
If you haven't tried apple cider vinegar it really does work and tea tree oil is great too so I started by combining the two. Great for your scalp but dries out hair badly.
I now take about 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup very strong brew of chamomile tea (2 tea bags left for about 5 minutes), a big heaped table spoon of coconut oil melted, and a big splash of tea tree oil. Shake up in a spray bottle & spray onto scalp & massage in. Leave for as long as possible. It might sting a bit at first but that goes away pretty quick. Then wash with a psoriasis friendly shampoo. I use Thursday plantation tea trea shampoo. Condition & if need be rub a little coconut oil through the ends for leave in conditioner. (be careful to just use a tiny bit).
Keep solution in the fridge & warm in hot water to melt coconut oil before each use & shake well.
Hope that helps someone else get some relief!

thanks! my daughter has it and she has thick curly hair so its been a nightmare!
No worries. It might get itchy when she's had it on for a bit. As soon as she starts scratching wash it off but you will notice the red flared up bits clear really quick.

ta!
That all makes sense. I have a pretty good diet anyway since I packed on weight with ds then worked really hard to get most off early this year & the diet changes became normal routine. I should take fish oil though, I know that's one thing that could really help. My remedy is more of a temporary fix for when you get a bad flare up but won't prevent it.
