Awake in between naps?

I have a 8.5 month old baby and lately i am a bit confused on what i should be doing when i comes to her day sleeps..She has breaky at 7 then breatfeed at about 9-930 then i usually put her to bed. She usually would either nod off while feeding or shortly after i put her down.
Now she falls asleep as soon as i put her down she wakes. has a grizzle then starts playing. Yesterday she played and so on for ages. Ment she was awake for 3.5 hours. She then only sleep for an hour?

When my little man was about that age, he was having 3 sleeps a day, and awake between 1.5 hours and 2 hours at the most between his sleeps. Try really hard to look out for his tired signs to indicate bedtime.

My little girl is just over 8 mths, she is awake 3 hours between sleeps during the day. If i put her down any sooner she only sleeps for the one sleep cycle. All bubs are a little different, i think they say at this age they can be awake for 2-3 hours between sleeps. I also try to wake her up if she happens to go to sleep during a feed 'cause i know if i put her down asleep she will wake very shortly after putting her down and will not go back down again.
Maybe she is ready to stretch it out a bit, might b a little bit of trial and error to work it out.
Also maybe she only slept for 1 hour as she was overtired? My little man used to do that if I tried to stretch his awake time out too much.

My DD only has 2x 40 mins for the whole day, so she is awake alot of the time. I have tried to put her into a routine for daytime, but she keeps doing the same thing. I now don't worry about how much daytime sleep she has, because in the night she sleeps from 5.30pm- 6am so I let her do her own thing in the day, if that means she has a long nighttime sleep.

I have an 8.5month old son too. He has his morning feed about 6.30 and then is up at 7. Breaky at 7.30 and then plays until 8.30-9. Goes down for a nap and sleeps for at least an hour. He had a 2 hour morning nap today! Then up, play, lunch at 12. He will occasionally have a bf around 1.30, depends on his mood! Goes back down around 2.30ish, again sleeps for at least an hour then is up until bedtime at 7.30 smile
