DS is 8 months old and he has toast with me for breakfast most days. I always have marmite on my toast and usually give DS avocado or a bit of mashed banana on his. I would like to give him something else for a change. Do you think he is too young to start on marmite?

i gave my kids vegimite at about 8-months, but it was tiny scraping and no butter. they were fine and they loved it.
my MIL gave my baby some on him dummy when he was 10 weeks for god only knows why..i was infuriated angry its one of the only times ive wanted to slap her

why do MIL's do things to infurate us like that sometimes? tongue
my DD was 8 months when we gave her some vegemite (was just a couple of weeks ago actually). And yes, it was just a light scraping because of the high salt content.
