Fish for 8 month old? Rss

What kind of fish is suitable for my 8 month old? I know it is good for brain development but have no idea what kind to feed her
Our dd loves tuna smile

I usually make tuna bake once a fortnight and freeze a few small portions for her. I mash some up with a fork, then mix some pureed vegies through it.

Sometimes I just combine tuna with some mash potato and mix through grated cheese...

Haven't tried any other fish yet, but am open to any ideas?...
I gave my little flake and tune. Flake being fish fingers, woolworths brand as the had the lowest sodium level.
Sorry Hake not Flake. Flake is very high in mercury!! Dont give flake!! Whiting is also very low in mercury and very yum smile

Fish fingers is a good idea, i'll add them to my shopping list - thanks smile
Hi I give DD2 fresh grilled salmon fillets. I flake them and make sure there are no bones. I then mixed it in with her mashed vegies. She loves it.

Thank you for your ideas ladies, do u buy the canned tuna or fresh? I dont eat the stuff as it reminds me of cat food but my partner loves it!
We buy canned tuna. Although i am pretty fussy with what brand i buy, i stick to the well known Australian brands smile

Haha...i have a friend who says the same thing about cat food...we only fed our cat dry biscuits so i've never thought of it that way laugh
