11 month old fussy eater
My 11 month old is a very fussy eater she will eat a large bowl of baby rice with baby fruit for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch with a yoghurt and raisins perhaps some rice crackers and nothing for dinner she will not eat any thing mashed and is not fussed on fruit or meat, i've tried to introduce new foods but she will either throw them on the floor or at me, has any one else had this problem or has any one any crafty ideas to get some good food in to her ? she is a good weight and height and is teething.

My boy goes through phases (14mths) so we pretend it's ours and just nibble at his food and then he wants it, otherwise sometimes I give him jars he loves putting lids on things this takes the focus off the food and he is then happy to have some and after a few days or week he gets back into it. If he's really bad and been going on to long I just keep the spoon there but sing happy songs and stay positive no matter how upset he gets and normally under great protest he has his food by himself, then lots of cuddles and praise. Hope that helps
My little one goes through the same thing!! Have you try finger foods? I found that she would refuse to eat anything i was giving her but if i gave her the beggies and meat on a plate instead of mashed she would eat a lot more that if i was trying to feed her! She still has her nights where all she wants to eat for dinner is broccoli!! :/ But i just keep trying different things, now we give her the fork or spoon and let her feed herself, a little messier but she seems to love it!
Good Luck i know how worrying it can be for them to just skip a meal! Best of Luck!

Thank you for the ideas i will give them a try smile last night she actually ate from my plate which i guess is a start.
I found that finger foods made a huge difference at that age. Babes love to do it themselves and as much as know it's faster and easier if I fed him, I got better results by letting him go it alone!
I love coming up with new ideas and my friends were asking me for inspiration so I started blogging about it (amongst other things) so if you want some ideas, feel free to have a quick look at my blog.
There are things like green veg pesto on pasta (messy but yummy!), chicken schnitzel fingers and home made nutty crumbed fish. They're fast recipes for tired mummies so I hope they can help you, also good for big people to eat so you don't have to make separate meals for everyone.
