Need recipe from tuna mornay Rss

my nearly 9mnth old ds loves tuna and I wanted to know how do you make tuna mornay as I have heard some other mums say they make that for the bubs.

thanks.

Ryan 3 and Jaiden 16months....

I make mine like this

Tin tuna in springwater
cup of peas
cup of corn kernals
cheese sauce
tin tomatoes

I make a cheese sauce (if you don't know how I will post it here)
add the other ingredients & heat through sometime I add pasta (cooked) other times I just serve it over rice

I also sometimes put it in the oven (180 degrees C) for 15 mins with grated cheese on top

Hi,

My tuna mornay recipe for DS is:

1 small can tuna in springwater
1/2 cup peas steamed
1 large can creamed corn
2 small potatoes cooked and mashed
1 small potato cooked and diced/mashed
1 carrot diced/mashed
1 turnip diced/mashed
200mls breast milk/formula (have made it with both)
1 teaspoon cornflour
handful of grated cheese
1 cup cooked pasta

- mix cornflour with milk and cook for a couple of minutes on a low heat until it has thickened. Add cheese and mix until cheese has melted

- add tuna, pasta and veges to milk mix. Heat through.

I then freeze it in little containers and defrost when required.

Depending on the tin of tuna you buy sometimes you need to mash the tuna before adding if it is in big clumps.
