Fathers Day. Rss

I was hoping to gain some ideas for a gift for my partner. It will be his first Fathers Day as a Daddy and I would like to get him a lovely gift from our Son (2 weeks old).

Thank you for any ideas! I know its late I had every intention to have the gift sorted before the birth of our little one but my health had me in hospital for the last 6 weeks.

Congratulations on your new bubba!

DD and I have bought DH the two seasons of Wilfred (one of his fave TV shows) on DVD as well as a manicure set in a leather case. You can make personalised gifts with photos on the Snapfish website (like mugs, mouse mats, key rings, stubby holders) or you could get him a pewter mug and have it engraved. Hope that helps!

My husband is getting a pen (Biro) with his name and happy fathers day engraved into it.
Funny cause yesterday his work pen ran out of ink so he went online and brough a set of 4! I was trying so hard to stop him without being obvious!

I am also getting our little family a little plastic pool for the backyard. Mainly cause I am due with no2 in February so not excited about a long hot fat pregnant summer!

Hubby is getting a car fridge from supercheap which was reduced to $139 and also a HUGE box of Whitmans choccies it is over 1kg of chocolates! it was $24.95 from woolies.... that is a surprise but he choose the car fridge!!

I know it sounds simple, but daddy is getting a picture made up of hand prints of our two boys (2 years old and 2 months old). I simply got some non-toxic paint and sunk my boys' hands into them before stamping the piece of cardboard. Cheap, but very cute.

We did similar! - only got a cheap canvas and painted that, then DH and DS have had their hands painted and each put a handprint on the canvas. DH is away for FD this year, so we did it yesterday. DS (2) loves that Daddy and his hands are on display, and my DH enjoyed doing it with him.
