getting bubs onto a bottle Rss

i have a girl just over 3 months and have go back to work in 2 weeks i have been trying to get her to take a bottle for the last 2 months. she gets so upset and screams so loud she chokes. i need to go to work for the money and i feel if i leave her she will stave.. iv got 5 different bottles with no luck different people have tried. im not sure what else i have to do the child care people just say she will get it but im really stressed out and losing my hair and sleep over it. does anyone have any ideas? or can someone tell me that it will be ok and she will get it and wont stave herself if i leave.
Sorry to say this but one of my twins refused to drink from anything but the breast till she was 16 months old! No matter what I did.
that must be very frustrating. i guess just try to keep at it, and fingers crossed, she may take to the bottle. otherwise, you may have to work out a schedule with your empolyer for you to go and breastfeed her. i used to work in a daycare, and we had a mum that would come down to the daycare on her breaks to feed her 6 month old son,, because no body else could. i know you need to work, but employers need to know your child comes first.
Make sure you BF First thing in the morning and before bed and keep trying with the bottle during the day. You probaly have been doing this....
I think the mums in my mums group chose one BF during the day when their babies is not so tired and that would be bottle time the only thing is their babies are on solids so I think the first bottle time was after lunch... Then eventually they would choose another BF and give the bottle instead.
Get someone else to give it to her, I have found this works better as they want the breast

Hi there, I'm having the same issue. Only my 9 week took the bottle when she was 4 weeks (I had to express due to really bad case of nipple thrush) and she took it no worries at all. But now she won't go anywhere near the bottle. I've tried, hubby's tried my Mum's tried & no luck. I'm starting to get worried cos I go back to Zumba instructing & hubby will be looking after her & it's around feed time. Don't know what else to do.
I have the same problem
my 5 month old refuses to take the bottle. I was in hosp for a day because I was really sick and my mom tried to give her bottle but o luck she screamed the whole day, she never took the bottle sad
