Types of bottles that mimic breast Rss

Hi everyone
I have tried Medela (& chu chu), avent, Tommie Tippie, Nuk and Breastflow bottles and my daughter won't take any of them.

Has anyone tried a different type of bottle available here in NZ that they found worked in weaning their baby off the breast?

Thanks for your help.
I am guessing that if you have tried all of those and none of them work for you, then it isn't the bottle that's the problem. The problem is that your daughter simply doesn't want to take any bottle at all!

Are you the one who is trying to give it to her? I have heard that it's easier if you get someone else to give it the first couple of times, and you should even leave the house if possible. Babies don't see why they should take a bottle when you're sitting right there and you could be breastfeeding them! I had to get Nana to help out with this one.

I was told that Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature is the one bottle that is closest to the breast. I tried it a couple of times for expressed milk when DD was very young and she took it okay, but expressing didn't really work for me so we never kept her up.

Then we used Avent when DD was 10 months and I returned to work, so I put her onto formula for her daytime feeds while still breastfeeding morning, evening and night. These worked just fine for us.

How old is your daughter? I'm not sure if different ones might work best for babies of different ages.
My DD loves the Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles. She wouldn't take a bottle at all from me when I was BFing her but she would take that from DH and my mum. I think they're great.
Thank you for your replies, my daughter is 8 1/2 months. Yes I agree that the bottle probably isn't the problem. We are trying water in the bottle to get her used to sucking on it during the day. Thanks for your advice, my partner is trying to feed her today while I have the afternoon off! Will persevere, I have 3 months to wean her completely. Thank you.

My DD used closer to nature as well and they worked for us.

Try MAM bottles. Babycity have them and I was having the same issues, but the lady there swore by them, and it worked. Still took awhile but she didnt flat out refuse it like the others. The teat is shaped more like a nipple and made out of something different than normal teats. http://www.babycity.co.nz/mam-drink-easy-bottle.html
Glad I found this post. I am also having problems getting my 5 1/2 mth old to take a bottle. So far I have only tried the tommee tippee and avent bottles. I have been successful on a few occasions with the tommee tippee bottles but now she is just flatly refusing and cries. We have tried hubby feeding her with me out of the room but that hasn't worked yet. I think I will try some of the other brands and see how I go, I have two and a half months til I go back to work, so fingers crossed one of them will work.

Any suggestions as to which feed is best to wean bub off first? I've been told the feed which bub is least interested in is best? And how many times a day is best to try without traumatising bub too much? I have just been trying once a day with the feed she is less interested, which is a mid morning feed.
