5 month old gets bored of one formula?? Rss

Hello,
My 5 month old is such a terrible feeder. at easter we changed formula which for a few weeks was great..it solved his wind issues (thank god he had terrible wind the poor boy). He was finally having full bottles (180ml), we had to walk around for him to eat it though...which was/is a pain in the bum but i figure i get my exercise in tongue suddenly he was refusing it all together...i bought a diff formula yesterday adn both bottles today so far he has polished them off...and has had them lying down on our bed (my back liked this)..i am thinking that he starts to get over a particular type and he thinks he is getting somethign new when i change?

he love love loves his solids n would eat all day if i let him...the days where he didnt drink much i woudl put formula powder in his food so he still got it.

its not a bottle issue cos he drinks water fine from it. could he get bored of the same thing??
thanks.
by not drinking much i mean maybe 400ml max a day. yesterday was 300ml. i give him solids at least an hour normally 2hrs after his milk like you suggested.
thanks ill try not stress too much about it..i do though cos for a little while he was losign weight because of it, which is why he is now on solids.
I have to agree with pp and another thing hun some babies aren't "big" drinkers my nephew doesn't drink much he was ff too compared to my guzzle guts kids I was astonished at the little amount he did have! But his fine a good weight and thriving he just drank less as long as his gaining weight now and thriving don't beat yourself up over it smile
Weight gain tends to also slow down soon too as he may start crawling or rolling all
Over the place which burns energy.
If his hungry he'll eat smile
As pp said too Hun his formula is still more important than food so always offer his bottle before solids grin
I would stop walking him around to eat too Hun his going to expect it and associate his bottles with being rocked/walked around which would be hurting your arms and back sad
hello good advice there peeps
Yup I would stop walking him around
feed in the one place if possible for a while
maybe try a different teet fast flowing etc etc
maybe milk too cold or warm ect ect
I wouldnt feed laying down too much wind perhaps
dont think he would be getting bored at that age
I would cut back a bit on the solids as milk is the primary food for the first 8 months
your doing a great job sounds like bubs is a little fussy got to love them !!!! and there funny ways
good luck
