Nan ha gold

Hi mummies,
Does anyone use nan ha gold? We have used this since birth and it's been great. But a few weeks ago since using the new improved formula my daughter suffered horrible wind, smelly, runny green poo, rashes and she is incredible unsettled anyone else had this? I'm not touching this formula anymore. Ive read a lot of complaints and it was on the news this morning foo

I would have said in the past that it was a great formula. I only stopped using it a few months ago with dd2 when she turned 1. She never had a problem with it. She never had any of the new improved formula. I only just found out today about this.
I would stop using it straight away.
Sorry I can't give you any ideas what else to use as that was the only one I used for my girls.

I'm going to stop now, she is a year old but I'm having issues win her eating solids. I'm tossing up weather to go on new formula or try child's multi in her cows milk

I changed to Bellamys. It's not a gold formula or anything, but my daughter was happy and healthy the whole time she was on it. They have a toddler milk too, so I'd say try that than go straight to cow's milk. smile

I use it. I've used the old Nan HA Gold 1 with my son and just had to change to the new improved formula. He didn't like the taste much at first and wouldn't finish his bottles, but he's a fussy baby. Any change to a baby's diet is going to cause a disruption to them, but there isn't anything wrong with the formula or they wouldn't be allowed to sell it. My sons poo has always been green, but it's not runny.

I changed straight away to another formula and already my DD is better. She's drinking her milk again and her poo's are back to normal. And she's not aggitated like she was.

Yeah I can't believe they didn't warn parents,but I'm happy to not go back there

My dd is 4 weeks old and was on the new nan ha formula for a few days, started vomiting alot, poos changed to dark green and runny and also so irritable! Why did they have to change the formula? I used it with dd3 2 yrs ago and it was brillant! Have changed to Hienz Nurture yest so hopefully in the next few days there will be an improvement

I don't know why they changed it. I find it very frustrating and it angers me that they did this without warning, and the fact that its making kids sick. I tried Heinz nurture my dd wouldn't drink it so I am using karicare aptimal gold ha seems to be going ok now she is starting to drink again

I have been using the Nan Ha Gold as that's what she was started on in the special care nursery in the hospital and my bub has now started on her third tin of the new formula and I haven't had an issue with it at all. She's fine, still drinks all her bottle and settles the same and poops the same as she did with the old formula.
