Is this still reflux? Rss

I posted awhile back with some concerns regarding my son. He is now almost 6 months old and still vomiting alot. It doesn't seem to hurt him still thank goodness and he is growing well.

He still does some spews straight after a bottle feed, which are just liquid that hasn't been digested. But he doesn't do as many of them now as he used to.

He is though doing more spews of curdled milk and it's constant, some days worse than others. He will still do some of those spews even when he's ready for his next feed. He has been on solids twice a day - morning and afternoon - since turning 4 months and he also brings that up.

So i'm wondering, are the curdled spews still a result of reflux? Or should i see a doctor about this? He is on Soy formula as he has troubles with wind and tummy pains on other formulas.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi,
I'm sorry that you are still having concerns with your son's reflux, but it's great too that he isn't distressed by it. Apart from the vomiting, does he have any other issues? Is he sleeping okay?

Reflux can continue for a lot longer than 6 months, despite what lots of people think, and the vomiting of curdled spews can still be part of the reflux. In case you are wondering if there is another reason for it, or have any concerns at all, it is best to talk to the dr about it. It is really important to listen to your gut, and if that is telling you to get things checked, then that's what you need to do. At the very least, peace of mind is important, and if there is anything, you'll be glad you went.

I hope that helps
