I'm not sure if my daughter has eczema. She used to get a dry rash around her hairline, on her cheeks out to her ears, on the inside of her elbows knees and on her ankles and also on her hands. She also has dry skin in patches on her head. The paediarition said it was dermatitis. Do you think this could be eczema?

If so, I have a solution that suffers may try. I started using Chickweed Ointment that is made by a company called Greenridge located in Ballina. I also use a cream a girlfriend recommended made by a company called Diva located in Townsville and distribute their products via party plan set up.

I'm not involved in anyway in these companies but do recommend them. The Chickweed ointment sells for around $10 and I'm not sure how much the other cream is as I was given it as a gift.

Cheers, Margie

My 11mth old baby girl suffers from eczema. I've managed to control it on her body but I can't seem to get rid of it on her face. I bath her in Oilatum Plus every 2nd day and smother her in QV Lotion every morning and night. I use Cortizone(?) cream on her face morning and night but it doesn't get rid of it completely. When I give her a break from it, her face is very red again by the next morning. I've seen a dermatologist who said that until she's a a little older, it's always going to be there and just get used it but surely it must go away completely for a while?

My 2 year old has a patch of ezcema that has just come up near his mouth. I was told it is from moisture sitting on his skin, plus he sucks his thumb. What can I put on it that doesn't matter if it gets into his mouth?
