I have a 21 month old daughter who suffers from what I believe to be excema behind her knees and in the creases of her elbows and also patches on her tummy. I have been using Bactroban and QV cream but this does not seem to help. It flares up when it is hot and become really red. It does not seem to bother her but it bothers me. Is there any other cream I should be using and are the creams that I am using effective in treating this.

Dear Libby
Your daughter’s condition does sound like eczema; however it is always best to have it properly diagnosed by your GP or a Dermatologist. Finding the right products is a trial-and-error process as each individual sufferer is different – what suits one does not necessarily suit another. Remember to always try products in a small area first and rinse off immediately if an adverse reaction occurs. We would be happy to send you an information pack if you send your request (including your postal address) to help@eczema.org.au
